  • Qualifications

    WV Professional Teaching Certificate

    Assist School in providing educational interventions and progress monitoring for students

    Work with individual students or small groups of students to provide diucational interventions and progress monitoring

    Work with school personnell to determine students' academic needs.

    Use identified scientific, research-based interventions focused specifically on individual student difficulties.

    Maintain data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress during interventions

    Provide the high quality instruction needed to move students to grade level proficency

    Assist with the analysis of the data to identify students in need of intervention services.

    Provide data to the school teams and participate in decisions about student progress.

    Responsibilities

    Follow all rules, policies and procedures of Mingo County Schools along with state and federal regulations pertaining to Title I

    Maintain records of interventions and progress monitoring to insure process fidelity

    Attend team/parent meetings as required; provide input to teams reqarding student academic strenghts and weakness.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information.

    Skill in effective oral and written communications.

    Knowledge of research-based intervention strategies

    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

    Perform related duties and responsibilities as requested by the principal.
